Why the Christian Life Coach Certification Exists

I created the Christian Life Coach Certification (CLCC) because so many women have the heart to help, but they’ve never been taught how to help in a way that consistently leads to breakthrough and lasting change.

CLCC is the core training that gives you the confidence, clarity, and biblically integrated method (the PEARL Practice) to coach with purpose ~ whether you’re leading in ministry, starting a coaching business, or simply wanting to steward your God-given influence well.

It’s the foundation every other specialty can be built on. Without this foundation, your coaching can be hit-or-miss, hard to replicate, and even harder to scale.

What You’ll Learn & Gain in CLCC

By the end of CLCC, you will:

  • Understand the role of a Christian life coach ~ learn what coaching is (and isn’t), how it complements counseling and consulting, and where it fits in Kingdom work.

  • Master the PEARL Practice ~ a biblically integrated, repeatable process for helping clients move from stuck to intentional transformation. Apply it to your own life to help you become a product of your own coaching and attract the right clients.

  • Develop core coaching skills ~ listen deeply, ask powerful questions, separate facts from interpretations, and guide without controlling.

  • Practice with real people ~ log practice sessions so you don’t just know the process, you can use it effectively.

  • Graduate with confidence ~ earn a certification that proves you can help clients create tangible, lasting results.

Examples of what a Sterling & Stone coach could easily offer:

  • Identity Coaching ~ Guide clients in discovering who they are in Christ, separating fact from interpretation, and renewing paradigms that have shaped their self-concept. Help them understand their original design, confront false agreements, and build a stable identity rooted in truth rather than performance, pain, or approval.

  • Purpose and Calling Coaching ~ Support clients in discerning the unique assignments God has entrusted to them. Help them clarify vision, identify strengths and patterns of grace, and align daily actions with long-term legacy. This work includes overcoming fear, procrastination, and limiting beliefs so they can move from intention to faithful execution.

  • Compassion and Care Coaching ~ Train clients to offer love and support without over-functioning, rescuing, or losing themselves. This focus develops healthy emotional regulation, clear boundaries, and sustainable rhythms of care. Clients learn to lead with empathy and wisdom while maintaining personal responsibility and strength.

  • Mind Renewal Coaching ~ Equip clients to recognize default thought patterns, identify deeper paradigms, and intentionally build new belief systems aligned with Scripture. Using tools such as the Thought Ladder and the PEARL framework, coaches help clients shift from reactive living to intentional self-leadership.

  • Emotional Stewardship Coaching ~ Teach clients how emotions function in the body and soul, how to allow and process feelings without judgment, and how to regulate rather than suppress. This area builds resilience, self-awareness, and the capacity to respond instead of react.

  • Responsibility and Self Leadership Coaching ~ Help clients take ownership of their actions, results, and legacy. This includes addressing blame cycles, victim narratives, avoidance behaviors, and buffering patterns. Clients learn to exercise authority over their responses and build consistent habits that create tangible results over time.

  • Relationship and Communication Coaching ~ Guide clients in recognizing relational patterns, clarifying needs, improving communication, and resolving conflict without manipulation or withdrawal. This work supports healthier marriages, families, friendships, and leadership dynamics.

  • Executive Coaching ~ Partner with business owners, ministry leaders, and high-capacity professionals who carry significant responsibility. This focus addresses decision making, vision clarity, delegation, team dynamics, emotional regulation under pressure, and sustainable leadership rhythms. Coaches help executives align personal identity and inner health with outward performance so success does not come at the cost of their soul, family, or integrity.

  • Leadership Coaching ~ Develop emerging and established leaders in character, clarity, and influence. This includes strengthening confidence, refining communication, navigating conflict, building culture, and leading from internal conviction rather than insecurity. Coaches support leaders in identifying blind spots, increasing self-awareness, and creating environments where others can grow and thrive.

  • Legacy and Life Design Coaching ~ Assist clients in defining the kind of person they want to become and the impact they want to leave. Coaches help them reverse engineer their legacy into daily results and sustainable actions, ensuring their present choices align with their long-term vision.

  • Consultant Coaching ~ For coaches who also bring professional or ministry experience, this hybrid approach blends reflective coaching with strategic input. It allows them to listen deeply, identify mindset barriers, and then offer practical guidance rooted in lived wisdom and biblical truth.

A Personal Note From Coach Laura

For years, I saw women with incredible life experience, wisdom, and compassion shy away from coaching because they didn’t feel “ready” or “qualified.”

The truth? You don’t need to know everything to start ~ you simply need the right process and the willingness to show up and try.

The Christian Life Coach Certification was built to give you both.

When you step into this training, you’re not just learning how to coach ~ you’re stepping into a calling with the tools to walk it out well.
